Application

Until when can I apply?

Please complete your application at least two weeks before the course start date.

Is there an age requirement?

Our programs are intended for participants 18 years and older.

What payment methods are accepted?

We currently accept credit card payments via Stripe.

Can I get a refund if I cancel?

Refunds may be available within a certain period, in accordance with our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Accommodation

Where will I be staying?

We will arrange accommodation at a partner hotel designated by TWJ, including breakfast.

Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes, Wi-Fi is available both at the accommodation and within the training facilities (classrooms).

Who will I be sharing a room with?

Private rooms are provided in principle, but shared rooms may be assigned depending on the plan.

Can I extend my stay?

Yes, extensions are possible upon request in advance.Please note that additional fees will apply.

Can I extend my stay at the same hotel after the training ends?

Yes, you can extend your stay. We can assist with the reservation process. However, please note that extensions are subject to availability, and the additional cost will be your responsibility.

How can I get lunch and dinner during my stay?

For lunch, you will have the opportunity to stop by a store (such as a convenience store) before each day’s training to purchase food. For dinner, there are various restaurants near the hotel for you to choose from.

Program Details

Can I participate even if I don’t speak English?

Yes, you can join even if you don't speak English. We provide interpretation support using AI-based translation devices. Basic communication and necessary instructions can be clearly understood.

Is it okay if I have no welding experience?

Yes, absolutely. Beginners will learn everything from how to operate the equipment to the foundational knowledge needed to start welding. For intermediate and advanced participants, we also offer opportunities to learn and practice more advanced welding techniques.

Can I apply as part of a group?

Yes, group applications are welcome for up to 5 participants. However, if the total number of applicants exceeds the capacity due to prior bookings, your group may not be able to secure a reservation. We recommend contacting us as early as possible.

Will I receive a certificate upon completion?

Yes, a certificate of completion will be issued to participants who successfully complete the course.

What does a typical day’s schedule look like?

Training sessions are held in both the morning and afternoon.
A detailed schedule will be provided after your registration is complete.

Are there any specific clothing or items I need to bring?

Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for movement.
All necessary welding equipment will be provided.

Can I learn both TIG welding and arc welding?

Yes, you can learn both TIG welding and arc welding. We customize the curriculum based on your goals and the specific skills you need.

Are there any days off during the program?

There are generally no days off for participants in the 1-week course. For those enrolled in a 2-week or longer program, Saturdays and Sundays are days off each week. Please note that the training facility will be completely closed during this time. We recommend using your free time for sightseeing or relaxation.

Visa and Travel

Can you help with the visa application?

Yes, we can provide general guidance for obtaining a tourist visa.
However, please check the latest information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or your local embassy.

Do I need to book my own flight tickets?

Yes, participants are responsible for arranging their own flights.

Is airport pickup available?

We do not offer direct airport pickup. However, as an optional service, our staff can assist you at Narita Airport, Haneda Airport, or Tokyo Station by guiding you through public transportation options to TWJ and helping you purchase tickets.

Do I need to check my passport’s expiration date?

Yes, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.
Please verify this in advance.

When and where should I arrive?

Please arrive at the designated accommodation no later than the day before the course begins.Our staff will assist you on arrival and arrange transportation to the training facility the following day.

Are there any sightseeing plans during the training period?

TWJ does not accompany participants to sightseeing spots, but we can introduce recommended tours upon request.

Do I need to purchase travel insurance?

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself in case of unexpected situations.

What kind of local support is available?

Is job placement support available after completing the course?

We do not provide direct job placement services, but we can share relevant information upon request.

Can I film personal videos during the program?

Filming personal videos is generally allowed. However, some areas or situations may be restricted. Please check with our staff for details.
